“What are you doing?” Ryo demanded. He tried in vain to move away from his partner. Their seats were too close, and leaving the unmarked vehicle at this hour of night would surely blow their position.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” Dee returned, his husky breath hot against Ryo’s ear. He slid his tongue into his partner’s ear; Ryo jumped so high he hit his head on the car’s roof.
“DAMN IT, DEE!” Ryo complained, rubbing his head. “WE’RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON A STAKEOUT!”
“Oh, I’m staking something out all right,” Dee murmured. He still had his arms wrapped around Ryo; he wasn’t getting away that easily! “Come on, Ry.” He pouted up at him. “Why can’t we have a little fun? It’s cold tonight! Warm me up!”
“Turn the heater up! We’re on duty, Dee, and the moment we take our eyes away from -- “
Suddenly gunshots and screams resounded. Dee pulled away and looked out in surprise; Ryo grabbed the opportunity to jump out of the car. He’d tell him to call for backup, but he could already hear sirens as the radio crackled to life. He smirked; he’d never been saved by the siren before!
