Dean glanced up as Sammy’s snores rattled the hotel’s windows. He smirked, thinking of all the times his little brother had called him on his snoring. He didn’t bother to wake Sammy tonight. He wouldn’t have been able to sleep anyway. There was too much on his mind, too many memories crowding in where there were already far too many worries.
A pair of headlights washed across the blinds, but they kept going and he kept working. It had been a long time since he had done something like this, but it was worth it. Sammy would wake in the morning to find one of his old socks sewn shut, tied around the end of his bedpost, and stuffed with goodies. Of course he’d know they’d come from Dean and not from Santa -- the current issue of Busty Asian Beauties would be testament enough to that fact if there would have otherwise been any doubt --, but it’d be worth it to see his face.
Dean smiled as he tied off the string. Maybe not having enough time to find wrapping paper was a good thing this year. He stuffed the sock. He had better taste than Santa anyway.
