"It's our Father’s fault,” Castiel says dryly.
Dean pauses the recording. “What is?”
“The Grand Canyon.”
“Dude, why does everything have to be about your daddy issues?”
“But it is His fault.”
“I think I know what Cas is trying to say, Dean. God created everything. That includes the Grand Canyon.”
“Actually, the Grand Canyon was an accident.”
“I thought God didn’t make accidents -- “
“Really?” Dean asks his brother. “After everything He’s put us through?”
“We are made in His image, Sam. He may claim to be the one perfect being, but the truth is: there is no perfect being. He makes mistakes. He does things that He later regrets.” Castiel looks back at the image. “And He sneezes too.”
“You’re saying . . . the Grand Canyon was made by a sneeze?”
The brothers look at him dumbfounded as the Angel nods.
“Dude!” Dean whistles. He looks at Sam. “That even puts your sneezes to shame!”
“I can’t help that I sneeze harder than you! There’s more of me than you!”
Dean smirks. “You’re telling me.” He jerks his thumb toward Sam. “He’s even knocked himself down before by sneezing.”
Sam doesn’t argue but does smile. “And you’ve caught me every time.”
