Harley gazes down at the newest carnival. There are clowns, tigers, bears, and every kind of contest a girl can imagine to test her skills. There are the old milk bottles, spinning wheel, the Test Your Strength mallet, and even a pumpkin patch. She imagines taking Ivy by the hand, running through the maze, winning every prize, and giving it to her. Beaming, she sighs happily.
“Harls, get some help over here?”
“Sure thing, Pam-a-lamb!” She skips over to her girlfriend and frowns at the dead body Ivy’s dragging. “I just don’t know why we have to do this.”
“We have to send those bastards a message! When we throw him over this building, it'll look like suicide, but they know my lipstick’s mark.”
“Why don’t you just go ahead and kill them all?”
“Too easy. I want them to suffer for what they’ve done.”
“So they’ll suffer. But maybe afterwards we can go to the carnival?”
“Is everything fun and games to you?”
“No. I just like keeping it fun when I’m with the most important person in the world.”
“Fine.” Ivy sighs but smiles. She can’t argue with that logic! “But let’s kill the bastards first.”
