Faith glowers at the other Slayer. The girl has the potential to be almost as hot as she is, but she's too damn reserved for her own good. She smirks as Buffy talks about Angel, oblivious to the growing heat between them. She'll let her think she loves the Vamp, let her think she wants a boyfriend as she works on piecing together her puzzle.
She's already got a few of those pieces together. Buffy's more innocent than Faith remembers ever being, and she's got a mother, friends, a Watcher, and even a damn Vampire who support her. The rest, Faith knows, will fall into piece. She'll figure this chick out, and once she has her puzzle completed, it will be her pleasure to slowly break it apart, one piece at a time.
And then when the pieces are all gone, Buffy will finally realize what Faith already knows and come running to be with her. They're not just two Slayers, two Chosen Ones when there's supposed to be only one. They're two halves of the same whole, and Faith's going to put their puzzle together the wait it belongs. It's just going to take time, so for tonight, again, she listens to B chatter like the regular teenager neither of them are, grins, and waits. She'll come to her soon enough. It's just a matter of time.
