The little fish looks up to see her mate swimming toward her. He's moving quickly through the current, clearly hoping she hasn't noticed he's been gone from her side for a while. "Where have you been?"
"Nowhere, honey." He smiles.
She shakes in disapproval at the fleshy bits she sees sticking between his teeth. "How many times do I have to tell you not to go up there?"
"Come on, baby! You can't blame me! I'm just doing what comes naturally! They're asking to be ate when they stick their worms in our water!"
"You love me, any way!"
